The second one was a visit by David Bohigian, the Assistant Secretary of Commerce. He announced that during the first half of 2007, out of 77 metropolitan areas, St. Louis was in 23^rd place in export growth. St. Louis exported 4.9 Billion Dollars! Among the top exports are chemicals, transportation equipment and agricultural goods.
