Exporting?

Products that are exported, in most every case, the accompanying labels or operating instructions must be translated. See what happened to one of our clients a few years back:

A container shipment was being held up in Hong Kong because of previously unannounced restrictions tightening security in China for the Olympics.  The authorities demanded technical documents that were previously allowable in English to be presented in Chinese for inspection. AAA took our scientific documents and had them translated and returned by e-mail within a few hours.  Our customer who feared running out of product was again happy.  We are happy.  Thank you AAA Translation.  A very impressive display of skill and service.

There are lots of companies that have faced embarrassing and also very costly situations when minimizing the importance of translation and ignoring cultural differences.

When exporting products to foreign markets it’s imperative to learn about the labeling requirements and whether operating instructions need to be translated or not. Not following the mandatory requirements could result in expensive recalls or shutdowns or products sitting in customs for weeks.

Call us if you need help with your export questions or label/operating instruction translations.
